Know your event calendar before you arrive. New Orleans punches well above its weight for major events. Mardi Gras (January–February depending on year), Jazz Fest (late April to early May), Essence Fest (July 4th weekend), French Quarter Fest (April), and major college football bowl games all drive rideshare surges to extreme levels.
