Best Hotels in Jackson Hole
Jackson Hole accommodation divides into two distinct clusters: the town of Jackson (walkable access to Town Square restaurants, bars, and galleries) and Teton Village at the mountain base (ski-in/ski-out access, resort amenities, higher winter prices). In summer, the town of Jackson is the more practical base for Grand Teton and Yellowstone day trips; in winter, the choice between town and village depends on whether skiing is the primary activity.
Jackson Hole is one of the most expensive accommodation markets in the continental US in peak ski season. Rates at the mid-tier in December–March are comparable to major urban luxury hotels; budgeting accordingly is essential.
Luxury: Teton Village (Ski-In/Ski-Out)
Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole (7680 Granite Loop Rd, Teton Village) is the prestige ski-in/ski-out property at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort base. The 156 rooms and suites are designed around mountain luxury: stone fireplaces, deep soaking tubs, premium linens, and views of either the Tetons or the ski runs. The Spur Restaurant, pool and hot tubs, and full ski concierge services are the primary amenity differentiators.
Rooms from approximately $650–$1,200+ per night in peak ski season (Christmas week and Presidents’ Weekend) as of 2026; shoulder winter season (January after New Year, March) approximately $450–$850. Summer rates approximately $350–$600.
Hotel Terra Jackson Hole (3335 W Village Dr, Teton Village) is a ski-in/ski-out boutique hotel at the resort base, smaller and somewhat less expensive than the Four Seasons. 132 rooms with contemporary mountain design and an eco-certification focus. The rooftop restaurant and outdoor pool with Teton views are the social centerpieces.
Rooms from approximately $350–$700 per night in peak winter; summer approximately $250–$450.
Teton Mountain Lodge and Spa (3385 W Village Dr, Teton Village) is a 145-room condo-hotel at the resort base. Studio and one-bedroom units with kitchens. From approximately $280–$600 in winter; summer approximately $200–$400.
Jackson Town
Wort Hotel (50 N Glenwood St, one block from Town Square) opened 1941 and remains the most historically embedded hotel in Jackson. The Silver Dollar Bar (2,032 inlaid silver dollars in the bar counter) is a Jackson institution. The 59 rooms span the original building and a 1990s addition; rooms vary — the original building rooms have more character.
From approximately $200–$380 per night in summer; winter approximately $175–$310. One of the few Jackson hotels where the building itself is part of the experience.
Rusty Parrot Lodge and Spa (175 N Jackson St) is a 32-room boutique lodge within walking distance of Town Square, with handcrafted log and stone furnishings and an on-site spa. Included breakfast is a significant value add given Jackson food prices. From approximately $250–$450 per night.
Anvil Hotel (215 N Cache St) is a converted 1955 motel redesigned as a 32-room design boutique property. The Mid-Century Mountain aesthetic is well executed; rooms are compact but thoughtfully furnished. The ground-floor Kru Coffee is the most reliable morning coffee in Jackson. From approximately $200–$350 per night — one of the better value propositions in the Jackson town hotel market.
The Lexington at Jackson Hole (285 W Broadway) is a 73-room hotel at the south end of downtown. Standard rooms with mountain views from upper floors. From approximately $175–$280 per night.

Elk Country Inn (480 W Pearl Ave, Jackson town) is a motel-style property 3 blocks from Town Square. Clean and well-maintained; basic amenities. From approximately $130–$200 per night in summer; lower in shoulder season. One of the few genuinely affordable options near Town Square.

Choosing Town vs. Teton Village
Jackson Town (Wort, Rusty Parrot, Anvil): Best for non-skiers in summer and for visitors who want the full Jackson restaurant, bar, and gallery experience within walking distance. A car is required to reach the ski resort (12 miles, 20 minutes) or Grand Teton (starts 8 miles north). The START Bus provides free winter service between Jackson and Teton Village.
Teton Village (Four Seasons, Hotel Terra): Best for skiers who want immediate mountain access with no driving. The village has enough restaurants for a week’s stay; the shuttle bus or car reaches Jackson town in 20 minutes. Premium pricing is highest here in winter.
Inside the Park (Jackson Lake Lodge, Jenny Lake Lodge): Best for visitors whose primary focus is Grand Teton hiking and wildlife. No travel time to the park’s interior; extraordinary setting. Summer only; book months in advance.
Booking Notes
- Christmas week (Dec 22–Jan 2) and Presidents’ Weekend (third weekend of February) are the peak-of-peak ski periods; rates at Four Seasons and Hotel Terra can exceed $1,200 per night; book 4–6 months in advance
- June–August fills the park lodges — Jenny Lake Lodge requires booking in January for the following summer
- Shoulder seasons (April–May, October–November) offer the lowest rates at all properties; some restaurants close, but outdoor activities and wildlife viewing are still strong
- The Jackson Hole airport (JAC) has car rentals from all major agencies; Teton Village hotels have a free shuttle from the airport in winter
